Kapalabhati pranayama

Kapalabhati is a very effective pranayama that activates apana. In kapalabhati, unlike bhastrika, only exhalation is active, and inhalation is passive and natural. You don't need to focus to inhaling – only exhaling. In this pranayama, you perform exhalation after exhalation, creating a sense of continuous exhalation with short, almost imperceptible inhalations.

The duration of kapalabhati practice can vary, ranging from several cycles to 2-3 minutes or more. The intensity of exhalations can also be adjusted according to the desired outcome and individual preparation level.

Kapalabhati pranayama is a powerful cleansing practice. Regular practice of kapalabhati can cleanse the body of various toxins and poisons, even those accumulated in the psyche. Many problems can potentially disappear through this practice, as exhalation helps eliminate excess waste. Additionally, the activation of apana energy during kapalabhati can lead to significant transformations in the practitioner's nature.
